Which airport to land at
The North Coast season shapes the flight choice more than the distance does.
- Cairo International (CAI) has the widest choice of flights from the Gulf and Europe, and is the arrival point for most of our North Coast requests.
- Borg El Arab, near Alexandria (HBE), sits closer to the coast and shortens the drive when a suitable flight exists.
- El Alamein International (DBB) operates seasonally, so confirm the flight before planning around it.
The drive itself
From Cairo Airport the road runs out through the desert highway towards Alexandria and then west along the coast. It is a long single stretch rather than a complicated route, which is exactly why the vehicle matters: families arriving late at night with children and a summer's worth of luggage are more comfortable in an SUV or a van than in a sedan. Confirmed pickup means the driver is already waiting when you clear customs, instead of a negotiation at the arrivals door after a flight.
Meeting you inside the airport
Our representative waits inside the terminal with a name sign, stays with you through passport control and baggage, and walks you to the car. For Gulf families the whole exchange is in Arabic. The same reference prices apply as anywhere in Egypt: meet & assist from USD 40 for the Standard package, USD 55 for Premium and USD 225 for VIP, per traveller and per airport movement.
What the transfer costs
Egyptian transfers are priced per vehicle, not per seat, and range from EGP 800 for short city runs to EGP 8,500 for the longest intercity drives — the Cairo to El Alamein and North Coast routes sit between those two ends depending on the exact resort and the vehicle. Every price is indicative until we confirm it in writing for your date, flight and destination.
